Say No To Bighorn Country Provincial Park

A park, what could be wrong with a park? On the surface all would seem good for recreational activities. No loss of designated trails. The problem is that there is no current process to recognize or allow a trail to be designated. If a trail isn’t designated it is lost or closed if Bighorn becomes a park. Essentially a park means no trail riding or OHV activities.

Wheels and Water Don’t Mix

Trail access for off-road riding should be a concern to all of us.  In order to preserve our trails and riding areas, everyone needs to practice good riding habits.  Stay out of stream beds and use appropriate creek crossings. Irresponsible riding may cost us all some riding areas.  Minimizing contact with active water routes is a practice that we all need to adopt.  Let`s all be responsible riders and respect nature so that we can continue to enjoy all that Canada has to offer.  Please like our COHV Facebook page and share our videos with your fellow riders.
