The primary goal of the Ride Safe, Ride Smart DVD is to demonstrate the safe and responsible use of ATVs thereby assisting in reducing accidents and injuries that could result from improper ATV operation by the rider.

COHV has introduced, the Parents, Youngsters and All-Terrain Vehicles booklet that is intended to assist parents in determining if your youngster is ready to ride all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

The purpose of this booklet is to answer yourquestions about All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and help you increase your knowledge of their operation and use. It will help you to learn and respect the capabilities of your ATV.

ATV NatureWatch
addresses several key issues: trail riding, adventure tourism, the environment, sensitive habitats, and private property. The program also promotes "better practices" for ATV riders such as the very simple, but absolutely essential, "Stay on the Trail."

C.A.R.E.S. marketing & advertising code of ethics
The Canadian All-Terrain Vehicle Distributors Council (CATV) and its member companies announced the implementation of the C.A.R.E.S. marketing and advertising Code of Ethics, which is just one more step in its ongoing efforts to educate the public on safe riding practices and environmental awareness.

ATV Voluntary Standard
This voluntary standard for four wheel ATVs has been developed to minimize risks to users of ATVs.
